One of my goals in Lifeline is to partner with parents…this means that I welcome input and concerns. I want to keep the line of communication open with parents. This also means that I am a huge fan of involving parents both behind the scenes and right in the chaos of Lifeline evenings. Opportunities for Involvement Youth Staff Dinners Often Lifeline staff/leaders show up for Lifeline after a long day of school or work and usually with a bag of greasy fast food in hand. I want to have them show up with out having to worry about hurrying through dinner or eating nasty fast food. Instead I have asked parents if they would be willing to cook dinner for our youth staff once or twice through out the year. If food is your love language and you are willing to serve the youth staff team in this way email me at phil@centralheightschurch.com Fusion snack bar Behind the Fusion counters dealing with the hordes of slurpee crazed middle schoolers we have a brave few faithful moms who run the snack bar. If you would like to be involved email me. Parents Prayer team There are a group of parents who regularly pray for Lifeline. If you would like to be involved email me. Walk around dads On Lifeline nights I am encouraging dads to come and hang out between 8:00 and 9:00. your role would be to be available to hangout with middleschoolers, keep peace, and provide a encouraging/supportive presence that is felt by staff and students.
